100 CLUB RULES

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the 100 Club is to raise funds for the charity Pitney Village Hall. All profits after prizes and expenses will be paid into the Pitney Village Hall bank account and used to help meet the running expenses of the Village Hall, a charitable body that has been set up since 1966 to provide a community resource for the villagers of Pitney.

RULES:

1. For a cost of £15 per year you will be allocated one number between 1 and 200.

2. A draw will be made every month with a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize.

3. The prize fund will be £580 per year. This will be apportioned as: 1st prize of £25, 2nd prize of £15 and 3rd prize of £5 for 11 out of 12 months. The prizes for December will be higher with a 1st prize of £50, 2nd prize of £30 and 3rd prize of £10.

4. The 100 Club is a private lottery and is only open to Pitney residents as defined in the Lease Agreement of Pitney Village Hall. Anyone aged 16 or over can join.

5. Individual households may buy up to four subscriptions a year.

6. Payments may be made by: a) Standing order to your bank b) online banking c) cash. A Form for the standing order mandate is attached and we encourage you to choose this option where possible.

7. Members’ numbers will only be entered in a draw if their subscription is up to date.

8. If a member fails to make their subscription by March 31 annually their number may be reallocated to another subscriber.

9. The draw shall be made by a member of the Village Hall committee at the monthly committee meeting.

10. Prizes will be in cash and delivered by hand to your registered address or given to you at the time of the draw if you, or a family member, is present.

11. The 100 Club will be run by the Pitney Village Hall Management Committee. In case of any dispute the decision of the Committee is final.

13. Unless otherwise advised, a member will be deemed to have left the 100 Club if his/her subscription renewal remains unpaid for a period of one month.

14. If a winner cannot be contacted, the winnings will be placed into Pitney Village Hall funds after six months.

15. Pitney Village Hall Committee may use your address details for general communications from them to you unless you request the Committee in writing not to do so. Your details will never be shared with any other organisation and your personal data will be kept securely.
