Hire The Hall

*** PLEASE NOTE: Due to the increase in energy prices we have had to increase our hire charges. From the 1st March 2022 the hourly rates will be increasing by £3 to £13 per hour for residents, £15 for commercial ventures (residents) and £18 for non-residents. ***

It costs the following to hire the Hall:

£13 per hour for residents

£15 per hour for residents for a commercial venture

£18 for non-residents

These charges include heating  - there will be no heating supplements.

There will be no 'all-day' charge, only the hourly charge.

Pitney residents are eligible for a 10% discount if booking six or more events in a year, for non-commercial purposes.

Please note that all time spent setting up and clearing up for and after an event will be charged under the hourly rate.

To book the Village Hall, please contact Sarah Perry on  She will send you a Hire Agreement and Information Sheet, as well as a map of the Hall layout.

An invoice will also be sent to the hirer. Bookings are provisional until the invoice charge is received by the Treasurer.  Non-payment of the invoice shall result in provisional bookings being cancelled.

Hirers of Pitney Village Hall are required to conform to the Village Hall Terms and Conditions which will be sent out with the Hire Agreement and Information Sheet
. By signing a Hiring Agreement you automatically agree to all of these terms and conditions.

​Hire of the Village Hall includes access to all the equipment and facilities that are provided there without additional charges, although we always welcome donations, especially for heating costs.

Residents of Pitney parish may request the loan of Village Hall movable equipment for their non-commercial purposes in Pitney. For information on how to do this please contact Sarah.
